Will a is nice to the point of everyone taking advantage of her. Sage is so wrapped up in herself she can't see how lost she has become. These two make a much needed contract to fake a relationship for personal connection. The characters are are funny, have an instant attraction and spend months trying to avoid feelings. Bryce Oakley gives a great no fake angst story about mutual attraction that brings friendship and an inner strength to the MC. It is so fun to read with moments that will touch your heart. The strength of women and their strength of character

Willa and Sage began an unconventional relationship yet completed their journey in love. I loved the characters and plot of this book. I was inspired by Sage’s strength to defend Willa from the jabs of an aggressive friend, Ava. It was wonderful watching Ava grow even though she was a secondary character. That Sage remembered Rebecca’s plight and commit herself to a legacy of providing soccer camps for girls and trans players was incredible. A truly inspiring story. I heartily recommend this book and any others by this author. I love the way she writes and how she allows us to tag along with the journeys of her well developed characters and plot.
