I'm an avid hiker and bought this for me, trying to use less harmful chemicals. Defiantly sticks on thicker and I see residue on the interior of the car, but can clean it up. Seems to stay on well, and work well. And it's not supposed to really disappear into skin. Supposed to sit on surface more. I don't mind having white, obvious, sunscreen. I don't use it in town.
