They do seem to run a bit small. I bought them for my bf but snagged them from him because I couldn’t resist! I’m about a W8/12 and they were just a little big but unlike others, I just put them on while sleeping and didn’t walk around with them. I normally wear size 13&half to 14 men's, and these fit me ok. They sit just below the ankle. They can get a little tight for me so you should look out for that if you are on the thicker side. But they work as advertised and help moisturize your feet. Would not recommend going up and down stairs.
