Great cream, not so great price

My one year old has recently started to have eczema in these warmer months and I had heard good things about this ointment so I wanted to give it a try. I grew up with eczema and still have ongoing issues with it and didnā€™t want her to have to go through the same thing. I also wanted to avoid steroid creams if at all possible so I went straight for ā€œthe big gunsā€ and purchased this thinking ā€œoh it has to be the holy grail for this priceā€. Donā€™t get me wrong it is a decent eczema cream, but not for the price. You can find much cheaper creams that have the same results. I used this religiously with my daughter and it still did not clear up her eczema. Took her to her pediatrician and ultimately had to use a short term low dose topical steroid that cleared it right up. As far as daily maintenance use I will opt for a less expensive version next time.
