These corner shelves are just what I wanted to hold our modem and router on one and a small lamp on the upper. The little ledge makes me feel confident that the devices won't easily be knocked off accidentally. My husband, a retired contractor, installed them so they are level. They are made of pressed board with a laminate veneer of some sort. The laminate arrived damaged on one of the shelves, but I wanted to use two of them right away so a dab of paint will cover the damage if it's placed in an inconspicuous spot.
