This module is a simple tool for ensuring that Eurorack modules power on consistently. Use this to ensure a reliable power up each time you turn on your case! When connected between bus power and the module's power inlet, the WMD Soft Start module delays current draw from the +12V rail by 400ms so the power supply

Unfortunately I ended up being very disappointed with this purchase, after about two weeks of use, it just stopped performing. Not sure what happened but it just stopped releasing the ball and I don't know why, it had no flexibility left to it. I'm not doing a very good job of trying to explain why it quit working but suffice it to say, it became useless after a couple of weeks. Broke my neighbors dog's heart, lol.

Tough & durable, but relatively light for throwing

This is the second one of these that I've ordered although to be honest, the first one is still very much intact and it was bought when my 3-yr old Shepweiler was still a young, but growing, pup! Tough & durable, yet light enough to be thrown (& caught), without much effort. It can also be used as a tug toy, as my other pup, a pit/boxer/"Heinz57" mix, loves to use it as.
