Pierre Olofsson was part of the art collective "1947 rs mn", a gorup of Swedish painters that started painting constructive art, not imitating life. Together with Arne Jones, Olle Bonnir, Lennart Rodhe among others they went in a new direction on the Swedish art scene from 1947 and onwards.
