Kakariki Feather NecklaceLittle chatterboxes of the NZ forest, and with bright emerald plumage, the Kakariki parrot is a stand out New Zealand native bird. Kakariki literally means `small bird' in Te Reo, and is also the word for the colour green. Sterling silver feather (3. 5cm long), hand painted with porcelain paint in a montage of greens. Suspended from a 45cm sterling silver chain, with a 5cm extender.

I like this map holder for its versatility in holding different size maps. Once sealed, it was very effective at keeping moisture out and protecting the maps. I originally used this on a 13K mountain ascent. Worked great. The only thing that can be tricky at times is sealing the top. It's not as easy as sealing a typical zip-loc kitchen bag, takes some doing to get it to seal.
