Very powerful! I'd gotten too accustomed to my old one with just a single metal spiral roll and so BOY, is this powerful! I'd also gotten accustomed to the on button being just an impulse button and not a solid "ON" so the first time I used it, I had coffee everywhere. I learned quickly to turn it on and then off right away. I do love how is recharges via USB port. Also the directions are helpful because the actual frothing bar was harder to push all the way into the body of it than I'd anticipated.
