All fabrics are dyed using Zweigart base fabric and fibre reactive dyes and the edges of the fabric are serged to prevent fraying. Keep in mind you get what you pay for. That said, this is a very cute watch and my granddaughter loves it. It was a Christmas gift and when she first opened it and set it, it would not run. Later, when I was working on requesting an exchange, I noticed it was running. Hopefully it will continue to run and she will be happy with this watch. It's a unique style and perfect for a teenage girl.
