In 1957 he recorded a novelty album of this music entitled "Mr. Magoo in Hi Fi," featuring his own orchestra accompanied by the talents of comedian Jim Backus, who voiced the near sighted Magoo on the cartoon series. This LP contained a complete musical suite loosely inspired by Ravel's Mother Goose Suite entitled "Mother Magoo Suite." In
