This necklace was one of my first attempts at pearl knotting so it has been discounted because the knots are uneven and imperfect. This should not impact durability.

I will say it's fairly durable but when the description uses the word leather..one would expect LEATHER, not microfiber. That said..it is thick and pretty durable and the dog does like it ok. Obviously the strap is NOT meant for chewing. This is not a throw it on the ground and let ur dog have it sort of a toy. It's an interactive toy. If left to the dog most would scissor the strap off in the first 10 minutes. Something to keep in mind. In summation..an ok interactive toy but over priced for the material.
