Ceramic coating, aluminum body with steel plate on the bottom for induction cooking. Used these on an induction hot plate and they worked better than the stainless steel pans I had tried before. Really like this set! Bought when on sale, good value for the set. Items arrived nicely packed. Wanted to buy beige but sold out, so got light gray, which looks very nice as well. Followed instructions to prep the pieces with oil. Been using on stove top almost everyday. Haven’t tried putting in oven yet. Non-stick but work very well on browning: chicken wings, shrimps, meat, onions….. After cooking, let them cool completely, then very easy to clean with soft sponge. Just have to use silicone cookware to avoid scratching.
